Peace Collective, a Toronto-based clothing brand aimed at making a difference, launched #UnravelHate – a campaign that unraveled a ‘Make America Great Again’ hat stitch-by-stitch and used its thread to create the ‘Welcome to Canada’ toque. An online film revealed the stories of new - Canadians and their reactions to both the MAGA hat and the toque. Toques were made available for purchase with profits going to a charity that helps newcomers settle into Canada.
