Microaggressions are referred to as a death by a thousand papercuts due to their subtle, repetitive nature. A traveling art exhibit, Worn Down by Words demonstrated the harmful impact of these slights and raise awareness for The Micropedia, the first encyclopedia of microaggressions. Beautifully crafted paper silhouettes featured common microaggressions with descending layers revealing a person's internalized harm. A plaque with QR codes pushed to The Micropedia so visitors could learn more.
