In 2021, publisher Saint-Jean Éditeur and author Geneviève Pettersen launched Je suis pas cheffe, pis toi non plus (I'm No Chef, and Neither Are You), a cookbook presenting simple and comforting recipes in a relaxed manner. Throughout the book Pettersen revisits often-snubbed classics of home-cooking that actually fit into the rhythms of everyday life. Je suis pas cheffe isn't intended to be a traditional cookbook; rather, it defends a democratic vision of food and cooking.
