Lob, a bocce-golf-hybrid rec space, took lockdowns as an opportunity to redesign in a way that more clearly articulated their ethos: when we play, we let our guard down and connect with others. Muted colours were shelved, and a bold graphic alphabet was made by dissecting elements of play, which built characters akin to gameplay and became the heart of the program. The new face of Lob is accessible and vibrant, where every piece emotes the feeling of joy and connection you get when you Lob.
