The Grid (previously Eye Weekly) is Toronto’s neighbourhood-centric newspaper that loves its city, not because it’s perfect, but because it isn’t. To capture the metropolis’ many personalities and idiosyncrasies, the website was developed with a focus on hyper-local news, events and opinions. The Grid is modern, edgy and approachable (everything Rob Ford isn’t), seamlessly integrating social media and curating content by community, encouraging exploration through a neighbourhood map laden with user generated content.
