How do you take a quirky fact like Newfoundland’s unique half hour time zone and turn it into an unusual point of differentiation? You celebrate it with an equally quirky travel promotion powered entirely by social media. Partnering with WestJet, Newfoundland and Labrador Tourism created an off-kilter travel contest held entirely on Facebook, giving away 48 round-trip flights in just 48 half hours (24 hours).
