Each photograph of the Extinct and Endangered project is created from over 10,000 individual images using a bespoke camera system and microscope objectives. The two year project displaying 40 insect species is the result of a collaboration between British photographer Levon Biss and the American Museum of Natural History, highlighting the current crisis of insect decline and biodiversity loss.
