Grimes was busy on an intense international tour and was benefiting from an important media hype because of her critically acclaimed first album, “Visions”. Our goal was to create in a single day as many stylistically different press shots as possible to cover most of her media needs for the entire year. The Guardian commissioned a series of these images for the cover and the interior pages of its weekly cultural supplement.
