I was passing by the park Jeanne-Mance in Montreal and saw people training on the soccer field. I didn’t have a camera on me, but I did not want to miss this magical moment, so I asked someone in the park who had a 35mm on him. He gave it to me for almost an hour and I was able to capture what I had in mind with a maximum of 15 shots (the roll was already at 21). I then removed the film, took his e-mail address, developed the roll, and sent him his 15 shots. To thank him, I sent him a huge print of this shot framed. This kind of story is exactly what makes me love photography so much.
