Los Compadres is a project about animal and people relationships. I looked into how the people of Havana, despite their very challenging socioeconomic situation currently, look after their animal friends with love and compassion. I hope the story inspires the audience to examine their relationships with the animals in their lives, and by extension, our relationship with the natural world.
