In this shot I wanted to make a composition that left no negative space. The solution was to incorporate a surface that was active on its own - in this case mylar. Combining its ability to bend and reflect with the new and rusted metals of the tins, the shiny skin of the fish, and the multicolored oils created a beautiful chaos of bending light, punctuated by pops of color.
