The concept was to showcase a lone 002, emerging from a crack in the ancient Canadian bedrock. To achieve the creative vision, we first modeled the full environment, including the rock and fissure in 3D. The inner rock surfaces were then built as practical tabletop sculptures to match the 3D. The shoe was then squeezed between the two surfaces, lit and shot. The rest of the scene was created in 3D and composited with the practical elements.
