Building on still life compositions I have created in the past, I wanted to further challenge perspective by shooting from below. It was very difficult. Rules that apply to composing from above did not work at this angle. Once I began breaking rules, a composition emerged with unexpected optical interest that both pleases and challenges the viewer.
