In 1982, Reese's Pieces was featured in the blockbuster film E.T. The Extra Terrestrial as E.T.'s favourite candy. In 2019, the brand was set to launch its first innovation in 40 years: Reese's Pieces Peanut. But with limited dollars and stiff competition, we had to earn attention beyond our budget. So we thought if anyone deserved to know about the launch, it was our biggest fan. The Extraterrestrial Sampling Program was born. Our mission? Offer E.T. a free sample of his NEW favourite candy.
