These photos were taken outside a local compound in Beijing, China, during wintertime in the afternoon, after we experienced a snowfall. We get snow in winter very often here in Beijing, resulting in lots beautiful scenery, and the snow is usually fresh and soft, however sometimes it freezes, producing ice. There was also fog, causing the background in some photos to be blurry.
