This project is a pair of images that work together and are connected by theme or narrative. I illustrated a scene where a temple monk and a beast confront each other. I played with scale to emphasize and exaggerate the contrast between the two characters. I wanted to create an epic fantasy scene with dramatic lighting and composition while challenging myself at rendering.
