In “The Architecture of Happiness”, philosopher Alain de Botton believes that we are drawn to constructed environments because they disguise the 'darker backdrop' of the real world. “The Architecture of Escapism” deconstructs pseudo-realities in order to expose the euphoric mask surrounding contemporary existence. “All-Inclusive” addresses the loss of authenticity when vacationing at resorts.
