"Invasion" is a series of illustrations depicting an unusual presence in otherwise mundane environments. This series takes quiet places and swaps ease for apprehension, painting a world for viewers where nothing is truly safe. Whether one interprets the figures as malicious or just strange, each piece strives for a sense of contrast between calm and disquiet. As the series progresses, the viewer is pursued by the creatures in question until it is clear that there is no room left to hide.
