Book cover design for the classic novel Lord of the Flies. Those who have read the book know of the story's dark themes, which are innate evil of the human spirit, savagery, and the loss of innocence. (Spoiler) The evil that is very prominent in the story is symbolized by the pig's head which I have applied that symbol in scribbly agitated lines to create a sinister visual for the cover. The pig's head is layered on top of the human figure resembling a child to imply its possession.
