This bag was designed for our national shopping bag project, which required students to choose a city or a country and create a design that represents it in some manner. I chose Madagascar and decided to depict the country's most iconic animal, the lemur. For this project, I set myself two main goals: to merge typography and illustration and to incorporate my design into the physical shape of the bag.
