This project came to fruition as the result of my decision to complete an independent study course in the last year of my studies at York/Sheridan bachelors of design degree program. The basic premise of this project was self-gratification, simply put, to do something outside of the box. In a way this project will act as a visual diary for myself, so I can refer to it in latter years of my career and see my thinking and design level at the age of 22, right before entering the real world. I intended this project to be accessed randomly even though it is done in print format. It has no beginning, nor does it have an end. The reason for such cryptic approach to this book was that the thoughts, views, and the feelings that sparked the design of each layout were not felt in a sequential manner. One day I created the first page and the next day I created a middle page. These erratic mood swings are the basis of ìOmnibusî, a visual repetition of me at this point of my life and my response to my surrounding. Tools: Adobe Photoshop CS, Illustrator CS, InDesign CS, Acrobat, Nikon Coolpix 5000, printed on 60 lb.. mat on Xerox duocolour laser printer.
