Music to My Ears was inspired by my constant wearing of headphones in and between classes. I wanted to show how much bigger things can feel inside the headphones, in contrast to the emptiness around them. Putting on headphones is often seen as shutting out the world. However, for those wearing the headphones, putting them on opens up a whole other world just for them.
