An animated title sequence for a fictional, mind-bending television series called Nocturnal. The sequence uses an animation style reminiscent of the works of Saul Bass in combination with digital effects that mimic the imperfections of old film transfers to create a stylistic piece that captures a moment in time. Inspired by film noir, the animation uses bold type and modern design sensibilities to simultaneously evoke contemporary and nostalgic feelings.
