The orangutan, literally meaning person of the forest is a long-haired orange primate closely related to humans. These gentle and solitary beings - found exclusively in the rainforests of Indonesia and Malaysia - are currently facing extinction. The greatest threat to their survival can be found in products we use every day. This information graphic is intended to educate a general audience about orangutan biology and behaviour and the urgent need for further conservation efforts.
