This text pages of this beautiful book was printed on Mohawk Vellum Cover, casebound and wrapped in silk with a copper foil stamp and tipped-on image. Hemlock's prepress and press department spent countless hours perfecting the 'quintone' effect. These 'quintones' were achieved by converting the internally scanned black and white continuous tone platinum images into deep, rich images achieved using five different black inks, with a matte varnish on each image. The book was reproduced using 20 micron stochastic screening.
