This is a self-portrait I created in the image of myself from a photo reference. Although it is simple in execution, I made sure that the organic background contrasted with my figure and that the curves of the leaves would create visual interest in the silhouette. On the face, I focused on distributing the values with cool and warm tones. I enjoyed capturing the image of myself in a timeless form to examine.
