UBC International Recruiting needs to stand out on a world stage within a highly competitive and crowded marketplace. Looking to deliver a unique and authentic message, we turned to their current international students to discover what helped in their decision-making process. Personal connection to the institution came through loud and clear, and established the strategic underpinnings for connectionsforlife.ubc.ca, which offers an unmoderated social media dashboard, unrehearsed video interviews with current students and user-generated inspired photography.
