The identity system designed for Matsuri Japon, a traditional Japanese festival that is held at Montreal.The first poster is designed in the style of the Japanese contemporary pop subculture art. The other poster illustrates a traditional minimalist aesthetic sense of Japan. The symbol is a combination of the icon of Montreal and the Japanese character for “festival”.The program includes free coupons and a postcard. It has a second life as a three dimensional displayable object.
