This launch film for Black & Abroad's new domestic travel platform, the Black Elevation Map, alternates between stately mountain footage and powerful images of Black business owners across the United States. The music plays like a beating heart, or a ticking clock. In voiceover, we hear original poetry written and performed by Jasmine Mans. Her voice makes connections between the owners we're seeing and a long continuum of Black contribution to the North American landscape.
