To bring a new generation of film lovers to the Toronto Silent Film Festival, we created the world’s first Instagram film experience. In three interactive trailers on the Instagram mobile app, (@TSFF_1, @TSFF_2, @TSFF_3), users could quickly scroll down on slideshow view. The resulting animation turned the photo-sharing platform into a silent film viewer, and brought the magic of 1920s silent films to life for a brand new audience.
