OgilvyOne needed an art director that could think and work like a developer. But without a budget for a job recruiter, we needed a way to have candidates pre-qualified for us. We created OgilvyOneNeedsanAD.com,an intentionally blank page. We knew an art director with our desired skill set would check the page’s code to find out what’s wrong. Hidden in the code was the actual job posting and an email address to apply.
