The BC Children’s Hospital was already too small when it was built back in 1982. Over the years, the population has grown, technology and equipment has gotten bigger, surgical teams have gotten larger and survival rates have increased, meaning there are more kids in the hospital than ever before. To put it simply, the hospital has run out of space. This spot is a simple demonstration of this fact using an optical illusion.
