Cineplex makes a lot of popcorn. So last summer, like a Hollywood blockbuster, we decided to make a big bang - with our popcorn. We built the world’s largest popcorn bag and filled it with 500 lbs of popcorn. Then we rigged it with a lightning rod and placed it in Canada’s lightning alley. Online, we asked Canadians to vote whether the bag would pop or not if struck by lightning. Winners received free popcorn.
