KARBON: These images are from a series of photo/scanographs which contains 25 images of sculptures that I created. Pieces of charcoal were chosen, washed, brushed, then assembled and captured using a high resolution scanner. These sculptures do not contain any anthropomorphic reference nor have any representational intent. Much like Rorschach blots, they are made to be contemplated. They may trigger different responses, a phenomenon called Pareidolia, much like looking at clouds and seeing different things.
