This project emerged from a desire to critique the news media for the biases that exist behind framing news content. "29" aims to examine the relationship between news headlines and the photographs which accompany them. 1,329 photographs of everyday life and 29 National Post newspapers were collected in a span of 29 days to generate content. These were then re-sequenced and captioned to form an entirely new narrative.
