During my daily subway ride from home to work, I would sketch illustrations on wasted given napkins using a sharpie marker. I would draw anything that held my attention or sparked my imagination in the train, from people to stains on the ground suggesting weird creatures. This napkin drill was a way to keep my creative juices flowing during those idle but ultimately enriching subway rides.. I grew a collection of 500 and counting.
