Title: UBC Donor Recognition
This work recognizes the contributions of 4,300 donors to UBC's $2B “start an evolution” campaign. Placed at a key intersection, this work creates a dynamic meeting point and bright spot on dark, rainy days. Names are engraved into triangular, internally-lit columns which form an interactive light show from dusk. Magenta colour ripples along the blue-green light of the installation as a viewer approaches, emulating the “ripple effect” brand identity of the campaign.
