You don’t have to be an anthropomorphic adolescent amphibian with a predilection for martial arts to have pizza at all hours. While a broken clock is only right twice a day, 7 West, a Toronto-based 24/7 restaurant, wants you to know that pizza is right all the time.

Leo Burnett Toronto worked with the restaurant to appeal to existing customers by redesigning their pizza boxes. In an effort to get orders in off-peak pizza hours, they created a series of 12 boxes with illustrations that combine clocks and pizza; slices of time that are perfect for slices of pizza.

Motivational copy let’s you know that no matter the time you’ve made a wise culinary choice. For example, 7PM pizza is perfect at dinner and at 7AM pizza is perfect post-party.

The boxes were also the perfect blend of fun and effective design warranting multi-category wins in our 2021 Design Awards. We hope they celebrated with pizza.
