Two Weeks to Midnight
Design Awards Deadline is Two Weeks Away
February 18, 2021
Leo Burnett, HUMAN CLOCK. Poster – Series, 2020 Design Awards winner.
Time has felt pretty weird this past year, our internal clocks (already faulty at the best of times) are running a little behind, so we’re here with a friendly reminder that the deadline for the Design Awards is just two weeks away: March 5, 2021.
TIME ISN’T THE ONLY THING THAT CHANGED THIS YEAR
In response to unique challenges, trends we’ve observed and oh-so-popular popular demand, we’ve developed a whole slate of new design categories, on top of all of our old favourites. That brings the total categories to a whopping 150+, which means more places to enter the killer projects you spent so much time on.
Here’s a list of all the new design categories:
- Complete Brand Identify
- Complete Rebrand
- Covid-19 Response
- Experimental/Innovative Digital Content
- Guerrilla Marketing Program
- Pro Bono/PSA/Charity Complete Program
- Point-of-Sale Messaging
- Promotional Messaging
- Self-Promo Digital Content
- Social/Viral/Promo Digital Content
Juniper Park\TBWA Communications, CIBC - PRIVATE WEALTH MANAGEMENT - PORTRAITS. Digital Promotion Design - Single, 2018 Design Awards winner.
TIME IS (LESS) MONEY
Adding value through design is nothing new to Applied Arts Design Awards winners and entrants. This year we’ve added even more value to our Awards by lowering our entry fees. We want to give back to all the designers who weathered turbulent times to produce award-worthy pieces.
Our 2021 Design Awards Judges.
GOOD DESIGN IS TIMELESS
We’ve assembled an incredible jury pool, from across Canada and beyond, who are ready to take the time to carefully consider your work, and potentially select you as a winner ultimately exposing your work to our audience of 115,000 creatives worldwide. So it only makes sense to spend a minute getting to know them a little bit better. Check out some background on our judiciously talented judges here.
ONE LAST TIME
The deadline for the Design Awards is March 5, 2021. Don’t be late!
