Revolve turns nursery rhymes into math equations with clever toy store campaign
Halifax creative agency Revolve, who we profiled on our site late last year, recently completed a clever ad campaign for Brain Candy Toys, an independent toy store in Bedford, Nova Scotia. Brain Candy Toys specializes in educational toys and teacher’s resources, leading the team at Revolve to realize something unique about the store: everything they sell inspires kids to think.
“With this insight in hand, we set out to create a campaign that made people think, too — in a fun way,” explains creative director Matthew Allen. “We took famous nursery rhymes and fairy tales (a classic symbol of childhood), and retold them using math equations (a classic symbol of thinking). The result has been a campaign that demonstrates Brain Candy Toys’ unique selling point in a way that’s as unique as the store itself.”
